What stays in the room
What you say to your therapist stays between you. Their notes are kept securely, separately from booking records, and are seen only by them.
Supervision
Every therapist talks their work through with a senior colleague each month. They do this without your name or anything that would identify you.
The one exception
If your therapist believes you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, they may need to share information to keep people safe. Wherever possible, they will talk it through with you first.
Teenagers
For 13–17-year-olds, sessions are private from parents too, within the same exception. A teen is told this on their first day, and parents hear only the shape of how it is going.
Employers and insurers
An employer paying for sessions sees numbers, never names. An insurer receives only what you ask us to send.
